Sandra, who lives in Braeside, believes that when it comes to your wedding day, it truly is “all about you”. You deserve to have the wedding ceremony of your dreams, and I would be honored to have the opportunity of working with you to make your vision a reality. I enjoy expressing myself through poetry and art. Other hobbies are reading, gardening and fishing. I have always been eager to help people so I trained and worked as a Nursing Assistant at the Grace Hospital in Ottawa. My wish to continue learning, combined with wanting to be creative, led me to train in Event Planning at Algonquin College. With that knowledge I have successfully organized a fundraiser for cancer, given consultation to brides and helped with a local bridal fair. Whatever your need may be, I would be thrilled to help you with the happiest, most magical and memorable wedding ceremony of your life.

I would be thrilled to be your Officiant and participate in your journey to unite love, lives and families. My husband Ric and our two children moved to the beautiful community of Constance Bay in 1990. After several successful years in high tech customer service, I am now a proud small business owner in the community. One of my passions is to play a part in the happiest moments of peoples’ lives and to conduct your personalized spiritual, non-denominational, or same gender wedding ceremony. I would love to hear all about your plans and work with you to make it the most special day of your life.
It’s an honour and a privilege to be asked to perform your traditional, spiritual or interfaith wedding ceremony. How can one not want to share and be part of the energy that surrounds the love of two people. My family and our dog Dixie live a simple life in Kanata. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their adventures, and so I volunteer with the Royal Canadian Legion and the Sports Club. My hobbies include a good mystery novel or movie and trying to find out “who done it” before the ending. Although I don’t have a green thumb, I enjoy puttering in my garden and sampling the tastes of the fruits of my labour.
I look forward to officiating whatever type of wedding ceremony you would like for your special day. I am a husband, father, grandfather of three children and am fortunate to have friends throughout Canada, USA and Europe. The RCMP was my career for 35 years and after retirement, I had the most rewarding experience to travel to Africa and consult in the rebuilding of the Sierra Leone Police force. More recently, I enjoyed a four year term as Councillor for the Township of Greater Madawaska. Today, my wife Donna and I and our Portuguese Waterdog Mitzy, enjoy the great outdoors at home in Calabogie, and where I indulge in one of my passions; gardening.
